Hi guys!! I am sharing one of my go to casual looks for the summer, you know when you have to chase your kids around and also want to be cute? Well, that’s what I had in mind with this outfit.
I don’t always have time to think about what I will wear, lay it out and get ready. Sometimes I just throw on leggings + tshirt + converse or flip flops and call it a day. But other times, I do like to layout my outfit and look somewhat cute with my boys. I mean, it only makes sense otherwise soon they’ll be like, “mommy you’re embarassing us” 🙂
This top is perfect for summer, flowly and lightweight. It just feels summery! The jeans are girlfriend style jeans and they have a side panel inset to grow with the bump. But, they have the exact same pair in non-maternity which is pretty awesome! My friend got the non-maternity & I got the maternity! Win! Win!
Let’s talk about these sandals for a minute, how adorable are they? I fell in love and couldn’t resist buying them! They are so comfortable. And now, I have seen them all over! They have quickly become a staple in my summer wardrobe.
Also, I have been obsessed with backpacks!! I swear, it’s the easiest when you are out and about with the kids. Everything fits and it is so easy to carry around. Oh, and you are hands free! Don’t get me wrong, I love the large totes, the cross-bodies, cluthes, etc., but when we are out for the whole day or traveling I prefer a backpack! A cute one!
With our vacation approaching, I am sharing the essentials for the 10+ hours flight to Montenegro. You can read all about our vacation spot here (The Passport to Our Happy Place). PS most of these are also my daily essentials but in less quantity 🙂
- Extra outfits for the boys + extra socks they tend to take off their shoes in the plane so those socks are dirty afterwards and I usually throw them out (shhhh)
- Diapers (10)
- Wet wipes
- Snacks. Oh lots of snacks. Things like crackers, fruit snacks, lollipops, snack pouches, pretzels….
- Water bottle
- Surprise mini toys This is mainly to keep them entertained throughout the flight. I’ll buy them a handful of mini toys and surprise them every so often.
- Camera + charger
- Phone charger + ear buds
- Basic mama make-up
- Dry shampoo + brush
- Sunglasses
My husband has a backpack too and his is full of similar things too. We always need extra diapers and snacks for the boys. And it’s easier in the plane with backpacks as you can put them under your seat while the carryon (mini luggage) has to be in the above compartment and it’s a hassle to take it out every.single.time the boys need something which is ALWAYS 🙂
