Hi beauties!
Happy first day of Spring! This weekend was super relaxing for us. We did some much needed Spring cleaning in our house, you know like adding fresh flowers. On Sunday bestie and I discovered another amazing cafe place which is also a grocery store – Standard Market Place in Naperville, IL. They also have a location in Westmont, IL. If you haven’t seen our previous post, we are on a mission on discovering new coffee places each week. We got our signature latte and it was definitely hitting the spot. They have a cozy little section to sit and talk inside, as well as an outside patio for much warmer days. Sunday was fifty five degrees and although sunny, not warm enough to sit outside. Their pastries were on point, so delicious! They were fresh and fluffy. I am daydreaming of that chocolate croissant and latte right now. Also, if you love wine this is your place – they have an amazing wine selection from Spain, California, Argentina, etc. After our lattes we did some grocery shopping, picked up fresh flowers & headed home. Eventually I’ll have a round up of all the amazing places we visit.
This is the outfit I wore, casual yet chic. How adorable is this top? It’s actually a sweatshirt but you can dress it up or down. I am obsessed with the pattern and the sleeves. I love the mules trend, probably more than flats. They are so easy to slip on and just complete the outfit. These are super comfy and stay on your feet. The trick is getting the right size, you don’t really want them to be big because they slide off and that’s annoying. I do love a pop of color but feel like everyone needs a black and a neutral pair before getting a pop of color. These go with everything and I love it. Also, these jeans are the only ones in my closet that barely have any distress, but I love this wash. They make me look skinny 🙂 Anyways, these are my pre-pregnancy jeans and I was able to fit into them right after birth which is huge for me since after having V I was never able to fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans and after having M it took me almost a year!!!

If you’re local I definitely recommend stopping by Standard Market to try their latte and pastries. Stay tuned for next weeks discovery – this one is close to heart.
Xoxo,
Vesna
