Happy Monday!
Good morning, everyone! Cheers to the first official week of Fall, and we are so ready for everything Fall. Already planning our first trip to the pumpkin patch, and picking out an apple orchard to do some apple picking. We are bringing out all the Fall cozy outfits, like the one above. The temps have finally cooled off in Chicago to wear sweaters, booties, jackets, and all the layers your heart desires.
OUTFIT DEETS: sweater (similar) | leggings | booties | charm necklace (launches Wednesday 9/26) | baker boy hat (similar) | bag | watch |
As a mom one of the most important things in picking out outfits is comfort – I am running errands, always having the babes with me, or dropping V off at school. This- leggings, sweater, and booties – has to be one of my favorite outfits for Fall and honestly, the easiest to put together in five or less minutes in the morning. But, one things that I do like to do is accessories. I love adding a cross body bag even if I have my diaper bag with me. Also, adding this baker hat to my Fall collection for the first time. I swear, I have tried several of these baker boy hats and not liked a single one, but then I walked into Zara and fell in love with this one. The only thing missing here is a jacket, but I’ve linked below my two favorite purchases for this Fall. I just have yet to get my husband to take photos!
The best thing about living in Chicago is that one day you can be walking through the woods and on the farm, and the next day you can be strolling through the city with Starbucks in hand and shopping at the Magnificent Mile. We live in the suburbs of Chicago, but every chance I get I love getting downtown and walking around. The more I visit, the more I fall in love with this city. It’s truly gorgeous, the diversity of people, the amount of coffee shops (because, duh! that has to be my favorite), the streets are full, everyone is going somewhere and the traffic just never stops. Forever in love with you, Chicago!
Also, some exciting news for this week!
I am partnering with Kendra Scott in Oak Brook Center for the launch of their charms this Wednesday September 26 and want to personally invite you to join me to tell your story. I already picked out these two charms – the elephant and the star to style with this pretty necklace, and cannot wait to see what you pick. Preview the charms HERE. What story will you tell?
I would love to you see at the event!
Xoxo,
Vesna
So helpful! Basics make up pretty much my entire wardrobe (stay at home mom life 😜). I’m loving how a few cute accessories can make a big difference!
Thank you fellow mama! I always look for comfort too, esp when I am dropping V off at school & going to the library with the youngest two. Accessories make me feel more confident in my basics.
