Styling the Teddy Coat this Season
Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! Bestie and I had breakfast and coffee at Buttermilk in Naperville Saturday morning, and for any of my local Chicago friends you have to try this place. We loved the food, and the coffee was on point. We always share our food so that we can try more. The rest of the weekend was pretty chill for us, with a little bit of outside adventures with my squad. I wanted to share this teddy coat look with you, which I wore to breakfast on Saturday.
The Teddy Coat
There are a few things currently on my mind, and this teddy jacket is one of them. Hands down one of my favorite trends of the season. I am loving this oversized, cozy statement look. I know some are wary of it, but this type of coat comes in several styles and lengths, so you’d be able to find one that would fit your body type the best. For me, I picked the shorter version and decided to style it with this turtleneck, favorite leggings and these sneakers. I also, picked this lighter color as I feel it compliments my skin tone better, and I can style it better with black tones and brown tones.
You can easily style this jacket with a similar cable knit top, jeans and some boots. Also, pairing it with an even more casual look like joggers and your fave cozy boots would be perfect too. It’s so versatile, and there are so many ways to style it. An outerwear dream come true, for me.

This place is definitely must for breakfast & lunch. Weekends are, of course super busy and so packed! We waited 20 minutes, but it was so worth it. We ordered a veggie omlette, banana nutella crepes and coffee.
