We decided to change the room from Batman theme to adventure theme. We wanted to make the room more neutral and add some pop of color to be fitting for all three of them. And, although the boys’ share the room, Anastasija also plays in there with them and I wanted her to fit in too. I feel as though an adventure theme can be gender neutral.

The large map that you see is from Hobby Lobby as well as the adventure sign right above it and the ‘don’t grow up it’s a trap’ sign at the entrance. The little hanging sign that says be kind & brave is also from Hobby Lobby. Not sponsored or anything but I love shopping there for fun little things like this. I was so happy when I found these at half the price.

Lorena Canals Rugs

I was super excited to partner with Lorena Canals again as I love their washable rugs, cushions and baskets! I mean, what could be better in a kids room than a washable rug. And, ever since Vasilije has been obsessed with learning math, I thought this one would be a perfect addition to the room. The basket next to his bed is perfect for things he just finished playing with and didn’t put away, I can just toss in there.

If you don’t own a Lorena Canals rug you’re missing out completely. They wash so nicely in the machine, like brand new. They are easy to spot clean, too. I love the designs and regardless of your style you can find a design to fit your life.

Beddy’s (bed ease)

I don’t know about you mamas but I believe in making your bed in the morning to set the tone for the rest of your day. I cannot leave the house without doing it. And, let me tell you, trying to make the boys’ beds in the morning has been driving me crazyyy!! The way they sleep everything comes off and I feel as though I am putting everything together every morning! But, when I discovered Beddy’s (bed ease)I was in HEAVEN you guys!!! They are every mom’s dream come true! No more stress and frustration in pulling the sheets, tucking them under the mattress – you simply zip up the bed! YES! You read that right – YOU ZIP UP THE BED! Omg! Isn’t that the best thing ever?!

Dash Bedding Set

I was over the moon excited to collaborate with Beddy’s for the makeover of the boys’ beds! The boys’ each got their on set of Dash Bedding Set from Beddy’s as well as these spotted blankets and the I Ain’t Lion pillow set.

A few other things I LOVE about the bedding (besides the obvious, duh Zip up) is that —

• They are (hand) made 100% of cotton
• The zipper is accessible from both sides so you don’t feel confined to bed as a sleeping bag
• And, the washing instructions are super simple

Now, with the Holidays upon us this would be a PERFECT gift for your kids. It’s functional, useful and makes your life easier mama. I mean, does it get better than that? My boys love making their beds now. Trust me, they are SO happy they don’t have to make their beds with the old sheets (because I did encourage bed making every day).
