Visiting Santa Claus this Year
Happy Monday, loves! We saw Santa the last weekend in November, but thought it would be most appropriate to welcome December with the recap of visiting Santa.
A few weeks ago I wrote a post on How to have a Successful Visit with Santa this Year, you can read it HERE and I have to say I was afraid I would jinx myself.
Well, the visit was a success and although Anastasija wasn’t the happiest in Santa’s lap (see for yourself) we still got a photo of all three with Santa! The boys didn’t surprise me, I had a feeling they would behave. Anastasija waved to Santa too. Waving is her new thing and saying “pa pa” as in “bye”.
We love visiting Santa at his little Gingerbread house. We have been going to the same place for the past three years. I love our community, the festivities and just how personable everything is. Santa takes time with each kid and talks to them, asking how they are and what they’d like for Christmas. He even calls them by their name. I have always liked everything that’s more personal.
This year, we are refocusing things a little when it comes to presents and the idea of gifting. The older they get the more I realize that nothing is more valuable than our time spent together and memories we make.
Have you visited Santa yet? If yes, how did it go? Leave me your feedback in the comments below.
Stay tuned for the next Blog post of us getting our real Christmas tree this year.
