What’s in my Diaper Bag?

I have written a post on this before, but now we have grown as a family and so has our Diaper Bag needs. Being a mom of four, with a newborn we need a lot more with us. I have always been a fairly organized person but my organization skills have gone to another level ever since becoming a mom. Honestly, if I wasn’t this organized I don’t know how we would do anything or go anywhere. Pretending we are not in quarantine mode right now and we can be out and about, I compiled a list of things currently in my Diaper Bag.

FOR OUR NEWBORN

FOR OUR 2 YEAR OLD

FOR MOMMY

Personally, I aim to have one diaper for every hour that I plan on being somewhere with a newborn.

One thing that has worked so well for us is having an extra bag of things in the car. I like to take a minimalistic approach to packing, but also know that things happen when you’re out and about with your little ones so having a few extra things in the car can be a lifesaver. For example, I’ll always have an extra outfit (nothing fancy) for the baby, extra diapers and a pack of wipes, as well as an extra outfit for our two year old. The boys are old enough and I don’t bring anything extra for them, other than of course snacks and water. My two year old is still in diapers (we like pull ups) so I like to have an extra outfit for her. I am not going to lie, I have gone into Target before for an outfit when we had a blowout and mama wasn’t prepared with an extra outfit in the car. Things happen, and that’s okay. The key is to be as organized and prepared as you can.

I carry extra swaddles too, especially because they are great to lay the baby down if we are at the park or if she falls asleep in the stroller I can cover her. They come handy during feedings. I mean, swaddles are a must have.

Hopefully that helps you to pack your diaper bag. I am obsessed with Fawn Design diaper bags for many reasons, but mainly because they are functional, practical and look beautiful. There are 12 pockets to fit everything that you need, including a changing pad. I also got the stroller hooks so a I can hang the bag on our stroller.
