I am not a seasonal decorator but here are a few ways I add Fall into our home ✨

Our rug is perfect for Fall with its deep tones of rust, dark green, warm brown, and cream. Pulling colors from the rug to add combinations with pillows, lots of pillows. Greenery works all year around, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise but these mauve, cream, plum, burgundy or rust stems will add more warmth for Fall. Finish with throw blankets in browns and beige for that cozy feel.

Would this give you anxiety?

I love our curved stairs so much, and I don’t want to put a baby gate on them. In fact, we have never done any baby proofing around the house and we have five kids.

I believe in letting our little ones do dangerous things safely. I let our one year old explore the stairs. I am always behind him to safely watch.

This is our fifth baby, but second with stairs exploring. We didn’t have stairs before this house. Last Summer I spent time teaching our now two year old (she was 15 months then) how to safely go up and down the stairs. Now I am determined to do the same with our one year old. We never put gates on these stairs.
