Easter is just around the corner and as a mom of five I like to plan ahead, so that I can create meaningful baskets for each one. I love using Easter baskets but I also love using a little untraditional baskets, such as cute bags for girls to fill them up or rain boots to fill up for boys.
I have five kids — 3 boys and 2 girls ages 1-8 years old so I am going share different basket ideas you can use too.
Growing up we didn’t have Easter baskets, our traditions are a little different and while it’s important for us to keep our traditions I love the idea of a basket with small thoughtful gifts.
I am not big on filling up baskets with lots of candy, or making elaborative baskets. I go simple with the kids baskets and like to use things that are useful to each kid. I have rounded up 100+ basket fillers for you here.
My favorite basket fillers include:
— Spring/summer pajamas
— Sandals/rain boots
— A fun activity to do
— Board game
— Coloring book/coloring pencils
— Hair accessories (bow, hat, baseball cap, etc.)
— A fun craft to do

Full disclosure: She also has the jelly bean bag in pink that I was going to use, but she has been asking for a basket for her kitchen and she loves bunnies, so I grabbed this one for her.
Easter basket for my two year old
